Bedroom 1

Bedroom 1- The first bedroom I renovated at 225 was the bedroom I slept in, the safe bedroom... being a very sensitive person I did not want to sleep in the bedroom where someone had, he said, accidentally, caused her own death.

I really wanted Warren and I to buy a different house, immediately, in 2022, but he said it was not, financially, feasible.

Elfrieda's belongings- Bedroom 1- This is how I remember things.

Armoire- Top shelf- on the left- Briefcase with ‘birth certificate,’ external hard drive, tax documents, divorce documents, Day & Ross retirement documents- stolen $209,000 by Elmer John Dueck.

Elfrieda Guenter pink inoculation ‘baby card.’

Elfrieda’s clothes- 5 shelves- bottom shelf- jewelry container with jewelry; two hats Warren purchased for me at Clear Lake.

(Middle of armoire- Elfrieda’s basket- I put Warren’s 17+ pair of underwear and socks, in there… then, I put Warren’s clothes on the right…)

Top of armoire- Warren’s clock- old… I never liked it.

To the left of the armoire, two chairs… one, vintage (owned by Anne P.- Warren’s Mom); the other chair, Elfrieda’s- cream ladder- back with rush seat- small chair- 35 years old) Under this chair- Elfrieda’s brand new down duvet, purchased at Mega Deals, $100+ dollars. A big pile of my recent clothes beside this chair many purchased at Super Thrifty, Mega Deals, and Gloria Gayle’s.

Beside armoire, on the right, small carpet… green with roses- cotton- I purchased that at rug store, where I worked, in 2008, gave it to my Mom and Dad and then, when they died, I took it back home with me. Mirrors leaning against that wall… My silver full- length- purchased at Zellers, Alfred Sung, White mirror, used to be gold, purchased at Home Depot, Empress Street, 2006. Square mirror- sand and silver;

The bed, itself, belongs to Warren, including the mattress. The only bedding that Warren owns is one pillow, and, if he has the quilt I made him, on the bed, then I am allowing him to keep that gift from me. Everything else, on the bed must be there for me to retrieve. The king- sized down duvet in a white ruched duvet cover, the other five pillows, the quilt I made with the floral back, the blush and hounds tooth blanket I made 15 years ago, the mattress cover I purchased.

On Warren’s side of the bed, a night stand I purchased in 2005, while living at 90 Forest Cove Drive. A watch I purchased for Warren (Christmas 2025)… solar, on the window sill.

On Elfrieda's side of the bed...  My round silver metal night table with my silver lamp- purple lampshade… a basket containing jewelry… some purchased at Aiken’s, a pale blue stone ring that I purchased from Aiken's with small stones on either side of the pale blue stone... one stone fell out already, some old, 46 years old… marriage rings from 1981, pearls… 7 strands or more… one strand of pearls was a gift to me… 40+ years ago, purchased at Birks. Under my side of the bed- my purple sherpa slippers, ready for me to wear this winter.

Closet- $15,000 worth of Elfrieda’s clothes and boots (size 7 ½ La Canadienne, size 7 ½ Miz Mooz- any of my other boots, size 7 1/2 & size 8 boots were stored in the grey 'Canadian Tire' cabinet I bought, in Dauphin. That cabinet had all my winter scarves, mitts, (my lovely cream llama wool mitts- I paid $65 for those at a craft sale, my red lace knit short finger gloves I purchased at a craft sale, many, many other mitts, and boots, and, two dustpan and broom sets, bottom right cubby- hole) and sandals and white metal oval container with lingerie, and scarves, and a pair of sweatpants I bought for my grandson Liam, which came back, RTS.

Double- sized sheepskin rugs- two, and one on the living room sofa, and a grey one in the gazebo.

This is a beginning list of what I know is at my 225 address and I will, fully, expect all of my estate to be intact.
